With or without a University connection, whatever your stage of life, you are invited to join the University Retirees Volunteer Center (URVC). Explore the options and opportunities available – now is the time to become an active volunteer for the University and its surrounding community.
You won’t replace paid staff; however, you will provide a vital and necessary service that a University department or community agency cannot afford to pay someone to do.
As a URVC volunteer, you select the activity that appeals to you and fits your schedule. This may be a one-time event or an ongoing commitment – you make the choice!
To become a volunteer, fill out the application form. You can complete this form online, save it to your desktop, and email it as an attachment to urvc@umn.edu, or you may complete a printed copy and mail it to the URVC office at the address listed below. The application form provides essential information about your interests and your best availability times. URVC office staff will use this information to contact you when needs arise for the kind of opportunities you are seeking.
